About Me: The Fun, Coffee-Obsessed, Taco-Loving Photographer
Hey there! I’m an energetic, fun (and, if I’m being honest, hilarious) gal with a husband named Matt, an adorable little babe called Thea Skye, and two cats—Loki and Lola (yep, she’s named after the wine, because why not?). My journey into wedding and boudoir photography was a bit of a happy accident. I originally went to school hoping to become a forensic photographer (yep, I was all about the crime scene vibes), but when that didn’t quite work out, I decided to blaze my own trail—and here we are, living this amazing, unexpected life!
When I’m not capturing love stories, you’ll find me indulging in a few of my favorite things: wine, coffee, and tacos (the holy trifecta). Oh, and I have a slight obsession with collecting shot glasses and vintage film cameras. Every time I travel to a new place—whether it’s across the street or across the globe—I make sure to grab a shot glass for my collection. And let’s be real, I can’t function without my large morning coffee. I’m also totally hooked on Grey’s Anatomy and Schitt’s Creek (which is why you’ll notice the contact form names… check it out if you haven’t already).
But, most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable. Whether you’re here for your wedding, boudoir session, or just looking to chat, my mission is the same: to help you feel like the amazing, beautiful person you already are, no matter where you’re at in your journey. Life’s too short to not feel like your best self, and that’s something I carry with me in every shoot—because you deserve to feel awesome.

My favourite pass time is wine touring. Shocking right? Matt and I have been to Niagara a bunch of times and every time we hit up new ones. This past time we stopped at Konzelmann Estates and, if you've never been, I highly recommend you check it out! Not only is their Peach Wine and Baco Noir delicious, the grounds are gorgeous and make a perfect backdrop for photos.

I love to travel! I have been lucky enough to travel to a few place in the USA, including Hawaii, as well as Greece, Mexico and Aruba (which is where the love of my life asked me to marry him). One of my business goals is to photograph a wedding in every country. So far, I've got Canada down, but would love to be able to photograph a wedding in each province. #careergoals!
My style? Think natural, true-to-life with just the right pops of colour where it counts. I’m all about capturing you in your element—the silly moments, the sweet ones, and all those "wait, did we really just do that?" moments. As your photographer, my goal is simple: to give you an amazing experience and deliver images that will make you smile (and maybe even cry) for years to come.
Here’s the thing: My clients want to enjoy their day, not be bossed around by some photographer who thinks they’re the star of the show. They need someone who can capture their love, laughter, and all the happy tears—while standing on one foot, balancing on a chair, wading through freezing cold lake water, or probably getting mud in places that are hard to explain. Whatever it takes to get the shot? I’m in!
